Maybe you would like to take an easy bike ride through Glenwood Canyon with your family or a special friend. The bike path follows the Colorado River for 19 miles and you will see many rafts and kayaks runs the rapids.

You will be so close to the river that it's easy to talk to the people in the boats.
Be sure to ask them about their trip down the river and the temperature of the water. Chance are very good the they will tell you that the water feels great and adds to the fun experience. |

Would you like to learn how to rock climb?
You can test your strength and fortitude indoors at the Aspen Recreation Center
or
stay outside and cliimb the 32-foot spire named Doc's Rock (named after Doc Holiday)
located at the adventure park.

Canyon Flyer allows you to fly 3,400 feed down the mountainside and between the trees in an open sled for one or two. You get to control the speed at which the sled follows the many curves along the steel track. |

In addition to 400 foot long swimming pool, Glenwood Hot Springs has its own incredible water slide. You get to twist, twirl, spin and swoosh no matter if you take the wider green course or go down the sleek blue ride.

Instead of hiking up to Hanging Lake, maybe you would prefer hanging your ten toes while riding a zip line.

It takes a little doing to get to this scenic spot. Hanging Lake is only reached by a hiking trail that gains 1,000 feet of elevation in about 1.2 miles.
