Buttermilk Ski Area serves at the host of the Butter Bravo (and Butter Brava) on Thursday. Just when you think you have landed in Aspen, it will not be long before before you find yourself regaining some of that altitude during this hill climb event.
No worries: We have a great celebration of music plus a bunch of goodies for you to enjoy at the top. Besides, you will have the option to take the chairlift back down to the bottom if you are not up for the downhill. We will take care of shuttling your bike.
If you thought that Buttermilk only had flat terrain, think again. This event has an elevation gain of 1,860 feet in a mere 4.0 miles. You are going to need all of your strenght and maybe a little unleaded fuel at the aid station to reach the summit at an elevation of 9,690 feet above sea level.

The Cliffhouse Lodge at the top of this ski area is one of the best hidden gems in all of Colorado. It boasts unparalleled views of a mountain that rivals the Maroon Bells named Pyramid Peak.

NOTE: A rapid and significant change in altitude can have a dramamic impact on your ability to perform. Please drink plenty of fluids, be sure pace your ride accordingly, and pay attention to the warning signs |
