As part of your festival pass, you will receive unlimited use of our bicycle storage facility located in Rio Grande Park and at Buttermilk. This open-air, fenced area will be patrolled by three security guards on a 24-hour basis beginniing on Thursday, July 30th at 8:00 AM. Participants who have registered for just a single event will be able to use this storage facility only for the scheduled day.
Access to this secure area is made possible by showing the security guard a non-transferrable I.D. bracelet that has a personalized and unique authorization code issued at the time of rider registration. This code matches a corresponding tag that is placed on your bicycle to ensure that no theft occurs when attempting to leave the storage area.
We do know firsthand just how important a bike is to their rider. We also know that it is no fun to worry about carrying a lock, finding a good place to lock it, or figuring out what to do with the bike besides bringing it all the way back to your car or place of lodging. Consequently, you can access the secure bicycle storage facility as often as you like. If you want to go eat or hang out in town, no worries. You can even leave the bike overnight and catch the shuttle to anywhere you need to go... often for free!!!
